Monday, November 22, 2010

Steve Jobs must have creamed his pants when he heard how Oprah described the magical iPad. Before Oprah gave away the iPads to her audience, she mentioned that the iPad is the "best invention of the century so far."

The Playbook and other tablets will now have to work hard to sell their smaller gadgets.

Update: Scroll down for more pics. 10:30pm 22/11/10

Here's a peak at the 2012 VW Beetle that Oprah gave away today to her lucky studio audience on her Ultimate Favorite Things episode. The car was revealed to the audience but they only got to see the silhouette of the new car.

Volkswagen is not revealing what the new car looks like but a car paparazzi who takes photos of prototype cars released a picture of the 2012 VW Beetle. I'm sure this will be one of next year's best selling cars.

The Beatles Now On iTunes

Tuesday, November 16, 2010

The Beatles are finally on iTunes after decades of dispute between Apple and and the band's right holders. Under the terms of the deal, 13 studio albums and Past Master & Red and Blue collections will be available for download.

This announcement was a let down for a lot of Apple fans because they were expecting a bigger news. This feels like going to a big opening of a store and then you hear "The store is now selling newspaper." Like duh! We can just buy that anywhere. Don't they know we all have their songs in our iTunes playlists when we got our first iPods?

For those of you who wants to purchase on iTunes, indivdual songs are priced at $1.29 while albums will cost $12.99.

Apple's Announcement: Beatles Coming iTunes

Monday, November 15, 2010

According to The Wall Street Journal, Apple's exciting iTunes announcement tomorrow will be that iTunes is going to offer music from The Beatles.

I will be very disappointed if this is the only thing they will announce. I was hoping for a cloud based music management system or a subscription based streaming service. The Beatles are great but its not worth taking over Apple's front page. This however will end the decades long war between the two camps after the band said that Apple infringed on its trademark in 1978.

I just hope there's more tech related announcement tomorrow.
